
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Person-centered care
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Individual cognitive assessment & care plan
- Dementia education (includes dealing with difficult behavioral issues)
- Frustration free environment
- Physical exercise including balance, strengthening, and coordination
- Engaging/interactive respite care
- Grocery shopping
- Laundry
Previous experience preferred, but not required — skills training provided.
Requirements:
- Ability to treat and care for people and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- High school diploma; GED
- Must be able to complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- MUST possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and valid auto insurance
